Young Women's Bible Study Group

Young Women's Bible Study Group

Inspired by Ann Benton's talk on "Friendship" given at the 2003 conference in Pwllheli, we decided to set up a bible study group for young women. This meeting provides an opportunity for those who would see themselves as younger women (roughly, from late teens onwards!) to meet in a small group, in a home, to study the bible.

We meet every other
Monday, in term-time, from 7:30 p.m. We enjoy fellowship together, chatting, drinking tea and eating lots of cake, sharing thoughts on Christian books and taking a closer look at the bible to see what God has to say to us in our differing situations and to discuss together how we might apply the message to our lives.

We have listened to sermons on CD (e.g. "Heavenly Citizens" by William Taylor, "Ruth" by Jane McNabb) and read different Christian books (e.g. "Battles Christians Face" by Vaughan Roberts, "Encouragement" by Gordon Cheng).

We have found this meeting to be really encouraging and would love to have you join us!
