Ladies' Craft Evening

At the ladies' craft evening, we warmly welcome ladies and accompanied young girls of secondary school age who are looking for an evening out to relax and enjoy making something. We meet between 7.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. on the last Friday of alternate months except July (i.e. January, March, May, September, November) and offer you a planned programme so you know in advance what we will be doing.

Each time we meet, we usually offer a choice of three different crafts, including at least one type of greetings card. We try to share a new technique or different approach to our craft topics and you will always go home with a least one (often more) 'home-made' thing.  You need no previous experience of making things as our crafts range from really easy for the beginner to more challenging for the experienced crafter: there is always a choice. Besides, a friendly helping hand is always near by!

One of the things we offer is a cup of tea or coffee with something to nibble. We have this with a short talk on the Christian faith after the demonstrations but before we do our craft (in case of spills!).

We look forward to welcoming you to the new programme of meetings in September!
