Church Club
Church Club is for ages 11 - 14 years (school years 7 to 9 ) and takes place every Thursday in term-time from 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
At the club, we start each evening with a talk from the bible or an interactive quiz based on the talk from the previous week. The rest of the evening is taken up with games, crafts and tuck shop. Some weeks, we have organised games in our sports hall where everyone can join in, while other weeks we have a free evening where everyone is free to choose to play pool, table tennis, board games or join in the organised crafts. Occasionally we have special evenings where we have treasure hunts, Easter egg hunts or trips out to the local field where we can all play rounders. These evenings are enjoyed by everyone! The club ends with a tuck shop and a chance for everyone to chat and get to know each other. We then provide lifts home for all those attending or parents can choose to pick up their child themselves. Lastly, as with the Explorer Club, we have prizes twice a year for each young person, based on attendance and good behaviour.
