Welcome to the Greenstead Evangelical Free Church website. Our aim is to tell you about us, what we believe, what we do, and how we can help you. Please feel free to browse the site and email us (see the Contact Information page) with any comments or questions.

Who Are We?

We are an evangelical church with around 50 members and a congregation of approximately 100 to 150 people. We are a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. The church building is located at the top end of Magnolia Drive, on Greenstead Estate in Colchester, Essex (England). The church itself has a history going back to 1963, almost as long as the estate's, and our goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the community of Greenstead.

P The church building is situated about 2 miles (3 km) from the campus of the University of Essex and has a programme to link students with church families (there is more information for students here).
